Beating the Clock: An Express Heavy Airfreight Operation to the UAE by Hollandia Forwarding B.V. - The Netherlands

"One of our customers recently booked 2 very urgent airfreight shipments with us for a project they were working on in The Middle East.

 

They requested our assistance to pickup and dispatch 2 large pieces with the highest priority.  

 

The dimensions of each piece were 415x290x240 cm, the weight of each piece was just over 10000 kg.

 

Since the width was exceeding standard truck dimensions, we had to load with open trailers and apply several road permits between the factory and Luxembourg airport.

 

As we were on a very strict deadline, we had to load with dedicated trucks and dispatch on express service with Cargolux to final destination Dubai, UAE.

 

The job went exactly as we had planned and we managed to let the cargo arrive at destination within the timeframe required by our customer."
